Attack against the premises of the Federation of Farmers of Puno

On August 7, 1986, there was an attack against the premises of the Federation of Puno Peasants' Federation. This attack was part of a series of violent episodes that took place in the south of the country shortly before the start of the Rimanacuy Puno 86 meeting. On the same day, the house of Congressman Alberto Quintanilla Chacón was also attacked. Subsequently, on August 30, the Congress of the Federation of Peasants was attacked, leaving four wounded, and on September 17, the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture and CIPA were attacked, resulting in the death of a university student on September 22.
