MRTA press conference announcing end of action suspension

The MRTA National Directorate held a second press conference in Lima. Víctor Polay Campos, hooded, in his capacity as Secretary General, announced to the assembled journalists the end of the suspension of political-military actions against the APRA government. The reasons given included the inconsistency in the payment of the foreign debt, benefits to oil companies, excessive importation of agricultural products, political clientelism, labor flexibilization and increasing violation of human rights.
