Series of attacks in Cuzco in response to prison massacre

In the first days of August 1986, the city of Cuzco suffered a series of attacks, apparently in response to the prison massacre that took place in Lima in June of that year. These attacks demonstrate the national coordination of the PCP-SL and its capacity to respond to State actions.
