MRTA attack against OXY offices

On June 21, 1986, members of the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement (MRTA) attacked the offices of the transnational oil company OXY. The attack resulted in the destruction of the company's facilities. This attack occurred in a context of intense subversive activity, coinciding with the riots in the Lima and Callao prisons that took place on June 18. During this period, the MRTA carried out multiple armed actions against business and state targets.
