Arrest of Aida Lucía Mendoza Mateo, alleged member of PCP-SL special detachment
Mrs. Ana María Baltazar Carhuamaca reported to the police that a woman with a gunshot wound was staying in her house located in the Andahuaylas Housing Cooperative, district of El Agustino. The personnel of the police station of El Agustino searched the house and arrested Aida Lucía Mendoza Mateo, identified as (c) Lily. During the search, abundant communist literature and subversive documents were found. Mendoza Mateo had a wound in her back from the same day of the assassination of Rear Admiral Ponce Canessa.
