Assassination of Alberto Burgos of DIRCOTE by PCP-SL in Lima
Alberto Burgos, an agent of the Peruvian Investigative Police who worked in the Directorate against Terrorism (DIRCOTE), was killed by the PCP-Sendero Luminoso as part of its campaign of selective annihilations against members of the forces of law and order.
