Forced transfer of farmers from Umaru to Pujas by PCP-SL

PCP-SL forcibly moves farmers from Umaru to Pujas to repopulate the area

When the displacement of families to Vilcashuamán and Huamanga increased, the population in Pujas dropped considerably. The PCP-SL brought peasants from Umaru to Pujas to repopulate the area. The PCP-SL did not take over the farms of people who left the community or those who were killed, but rather they were taken over by these transferred community members, who cultivated them and gave part of the production to the PCP-SL.
