Riot at the Frontón Prison

Riot in the Frontón Prison in 1986 that was repressed by State forces, resulting in the death of 3 members of the Peruvian Navy during the debellation operation.

During the riot at the Frontón Prison in 1986, a debellation operation (riot suppression) took place, resulting in fatalities among law enforcement officers. Three members of the Peruvian Navy died during the operations to control the riot. This event is part of the context of the internal armed conflict in Peru and the operations against subversion in prisons. The riot and its subduing took place in the city of Lima and Callao.
