March for Life and for Peace in Lima
More than 10,000 people marched for Life and Peace in Lima.
More than ten thousand people mobilized through the center of Lima in the great march for Life and Peace, organized by the National Human Rights Coordinating Committee. Under the slogan 'The Fifth: Do not kill', numerous Christian groups from various parishes of Lima, lay apostolic movements, populous districts of Lima, professional associations, research and human rights defense centers, political parties and evangelical churches came together. It concluded with a Declaration read by Bishop Beuzeville with a proposal of twenty points to defend life and peace.
