Five corpses found in Accomarca cemetery
Five freshly executed bodies found before congressional investigating committee arrives
On September 13, 1985, the bodies of five people were found in the cemetery of Accomarca, whose bodies, still bleeding, showed traces of having been very recently shot, shortly before the arrival of an investigative commission of the Congress of the Republic, which included Congressman Fernando Olivera of the Popular Christian Party. This finding evidenced the continuation of the pattern of witness elimination.
