The PCP-SL executed four people in Pacllón, Bolognesi, in June 1985: the Director of the Educational Center, a Judge, a teacher and a farmer, accused of denouncing the subversive organization.
In June 1985, members of the military forces of the PCP-SL executed four people in Pacllón, Bolognesi province, accused of having denounced the PCP-SL. The victims were Máximo Ibarra Paucar, Director of the Educational Center; Abelardo Duran Padilla, Judge; Sósimo Mendoza Huaranga, teacher; and Joel Mendoza Huaranga, farmer. This is part of the Shining Path's strategy of eliminating authorities and teachers considered resistant or not sympathetic to their cause in the Bolognesi region.
