Death of Garcia Rada's driver from injuries sustained in the April 24 terrorist attack
On April 30, 1985, on the fifth post-operative day, Segundo Navarro Silva, Domingo Garcia Rada's driver, died in the intensive care ward of the Italian Clinic. He had been transferred to this clinic on April 24 after the terrorist attack, presenting a bullet hole in the left forearm, perforation of the liver and spleen, and two perforations in the small intestine. According to the Medical Director, the cause of death was 'septic shock cardiac arrest'.
