Supreme Court Ruling on Jaime Ayala Sulca Case

Supreme Court orders Ayala Sulca case to be heard by common courts, not by military courts

The Second Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic issued a decision ruling that the judicial investigation into the disappearance of Jaime Ayala Sulca should be heard by the ordinary courts, rejecting the request of the Military Justice to transfer the case to the military courts. This decision was important to keep the case under civilian jurisdiction.
