Police kill hiker cadre in Rajanya

In 1985, in the framework of intelligence operations that the police carried out in the northern part of Lima, specifically in the locality of Rajanya, the police forces killed a Shining Path cadre known as "Puli". This fact shows that the police also had intelligence work in the area to counteract the presence and activities of the PCP-SL. The event occurred during the period when Shining Path was establishing its organic presence in the northern provinces of Lima and southern Ancash.
