Massacre perpetrated by the Armed Forces in Huamanquiquia, Ayacucho, resulting in 7 fatalities (5 men and 2 women). Survivors testified about the rape of the two women before their execution.
On August 16, 1984, the Armed Forces perpetrated a massacre in Huamanquiquia, Ayacucho. During the attack 7 people died: 5 men and 2 women. Six detainees managed to escape and later testified about the events. The survivors reported that the two women were raped before being executed. This event is part of the documented pattern of sexual violence used in the context of massacres during the internal armed conflict.
