Graciela Lopez Medina arrested at her home
Marines violently broke into the house at dawn and arrested Graciela López Medina.
On July 27, 1984, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a contingent of Marines violently entered the home located at Jiron Chavez Gavilan 329, Huanta and arrested Graciela Lopez Medina. The family was sleeping when the Marines tried to break the door. When they were unsuccessful, they entered through the roof, broke the interior doors and told Graciela that she was going to be taken to the Municipal Stadium of Huanta. The marines were heavily armed, uniformed and wearing black balaclavas.
