Suspension of the Vision program

The television program Visión, hosted by César Hildebrandt Pérez-Treviño, was suspended by the government. The suspension occurred after the presence of the Minister of the Interior, Luis Pércovich Roca, in the program was frustrated. The measure was taken after the program broadcast two reports on the poor success of police operations against drug trafficking. This fact evidenced the tensions between the government and the critical media during the period of political violence.
