Shining Path attack to Cobriza mining center

Shining Path attacked the mining center of Cobriza on January 1, 1984, looting commercial stores and dynamite warehouses. As a result, in November 1984, a military base was installed at the site.

On January 1, 1984, the Shining Path attacked the Cobriza mining center in Huancavelica. During the attack, the Shining Path looted the commercial stores and dynamite warehouses of the mining center. This attack was part of the incursions that Shining Path carried out in the mining centers of Huancavelica to obtain explosive material. Later, in November of the same year, a military base was installed in the mining center of Cobriza in response to these attacks.
