Victims of Quechua mother tongue in 1984

In 1984, 2,354 Quechua-speaking deaths and disappearances were reported, the year with the highest number of victims of the conflict. The Shining Path PCP was responsible for 1,222 victims, State Agents for 964, CADS for 73, MRTA for 1, and 94 cases were attributed to undetermined perpetrators or others. This year represents the peak of violence in the internal armed conflict.
