50 corpses with signs of torture and execution found in graves in Pucayacu, Acobamba, Huancavelica
The Commission analyzed the case of Pucayacu where 50 bodies were found in 4 graves in the area. Many of the bodies were found with their hands tied and most showed gunshot wounds to the head and other injuries caused by sharp-edged weapons. In some cases there were traces of torture. The findings were evidence of arbitrary executions preceded by torture.
