Kidnapping, torture and murder of Alejandro Noa Yupanqui by the military of Los Cabitos
On November 8, 1983 at 2:00 a.m., soldiers from the Los Cabitos barracks burst into Alejandro Noa Yupanqui's home in Huamanga and violently arrested him. He was put in a sack while they kicked him in the head and threw him into a truck. A week later, on November 17, his family found his rotting corpse in the Puracuti garbage dump, along with five other bodies. The body showed signs of severe torture.
