Attack against Acción Popular premises

The PCP-SL perpetrated an attack on the main office of Acción Popular on the day that the General Departmental Plenary of Lima was to be held. As a result of the attack, a security agent was killed and three members of Acción Popular were wounded. Investigating what happened, an ensign of the DIRCOTE managed to capture Alcibiades Chavez Diaz, who had all the subjection letters of the Metropolitan Committee. This was a hard blow to the Metropolitan Committee of the PCP-SL.
