Alfonso Grados Bertorini, candidate for mayor of Lima for Acción Popular

On August 13, 1983, Alfonso Grados Bertorini accepted to run for mayor of Lima for the Acción Popular (AP) party. Grados Bertorini had previously resigned as Minister of Labor on June 27, 1983. His candidacy was in the context of the municipal elections to be held in November of that year. He would later participate in televised debates together with the other main candidates for mayor of Lima: Amiel of the PPC, Barnechea of the PAP and Barrantes of the IU.
