Judge's meeting with Uchuraccay community members

Ad-hoc judge Juan Flores Rojas visited Uchuraccay on March 3, 1983 and met with 23 community members (18 men and 5 women) to collect their statements about the massacre of journalists that occurred on January 26.

On March 3, 1983, ad-hoc judge Juan Flores Rojas conducted a judicial diligence in Uchuraccay. During this visit, he met with 18 men and 5 women from the community to collect their statements about the events of January 26, 1983, when eight journalists were murdered. Among the peasants who gave statements to the judge were Dionisio Ramos Ricra, Esteban Chávez Soto, Antonio Soto, Dionisio Ccente, Feliciano Soto, Mariano Gutiérrez, Esteban Marces Gavilán, Alejandro Ayala and Florencia Figueroa. This was the third judicial proceeding carried out at the scene of the events since the beginning of the process.
