First people's trial in Lucanamarca where the PCP-SL executed Marciano Huancahuari and family members
The PCP-SL held the first popular trial in Lucanamarca against 74-year-old Marciano Huancahuari, vice-president of the community, along with his wife and son-in-law. Huancahuari was one of the older leaders of the community and had held almost every position. The three people were tied up blindfolded, read accusations of being deceitful and exploitative, and then executed with a shotgun.
