Student murder by PCP-SL
PCP-SL murders student accused of extortion using organization's name
On February 4, 1983, a Shining Path commando assassinated a student, accusing him of having taken the name of the subversive organization to carry out extortion. From then on, successive murders of students and threats against UNSCH authorities became more and more frequent.
