Separation of Judge Hugo Molina from the Uchuraccay case

The Superior Court of Ayacucho separated Judge Hugo Molina from the Uchuraccay case on February 2, 1983 due to serious irregularities committed during the beginning of the process. He was replaced by ad-hoc judge Juan Flores Rojas.

Due to serious irregularities committed during the initiation of the judicial process for the Uchuraccay massacre, the Superior Court of Ayacucho removed Judge Hugo Molina from his position as examining magistrate on February 2, 1983. Judge Molina had taken cognizance of the case on January 30, 1983, even though Uchuraccay was not in his jurisdiction. During his brief tenure, no arrests were made, despite the fact that there was strong evidence of the crime, such as an axe with traces of blood and a pot with blood and remains of encephalic mass found in the Lieutenant Governor's house. As a replacement, Dr. Juan Flores Rojas was appointed as ad-hoc examining magistrate.
