Organization of first peasant patrols in Ninabamba, Mollebamba and Santa Carmen.

In mid-January 1983, the police and the Sinchis organized the first peasant patrols in Ninabamba, Mollebamba and Santa Carmen, following the installation of a mixed base in Pallqas after the massacre of 40 community members. This organization was part of the counter-subversive response in the area.

In mid-January 1983, after the massacre of 40 community members in the Pallqas temple at the hands of subversives, a mixed base composed of Sinchis, police and Republican Guard was set up in the community of Pallqas. In response to the Shining Path violence and after the capture of several subversives who were taken to Andahuaylas (five of whom died in the 1986 riot), the police and the Sinchis organized the first peasant patrols in the communities of Ninabamba, Mollebamba and Santa Carmen. This organization of peasant patrols was part of the counter-subversive strategy in the Oreja de Perro area. In response to these captures, the PCP-SL executed several peasants from Ninabamba and Mollebamba.
