PCP-SL officializes the creation of its People's Guerrilla Army
On Abimael Guzman's birthday, the PCP-SL decided to make official the birth of its so-called 'People's Guerrilla Army'. This decision marked a milestone in the military structure of the subversive organization. Shortly after this officialization, the Armed Forces took charge of the counter-subversive struggle in Ayacucho.
