The Batir II Campaign was the second phase of the military operations known as the Batir Agreement, carried out in the context of the counter-subversive struggle in Peru. This campaign was carried out from November 1982 to March 1983, following the Batir I Campaign that had taken place between July and October 1982. These operations were part of the third moment of the military strategy against Sendero Luminoso. The campaign took place in a period of intensification of the internal armed conflict, prior to the formal entry of the Armed Forces in the anti-subversive struggle that would take place at the end of December 1982.
