Arrival of PCP-SL militants to Soras, Larcay and Paucaray

In November 1982, PCP-SL militants arrived in the districts of Soras, Larcay and Paucaray to carry out indoctrination work with schoolchildren, establishing a network of contacts that would expand in the following years.

Towards the first days of November 1982, a group of PCP-SL militants arrived in the districts of Soras, Larcay and Paucaray. They carried out indoctrination work with schoolchildren in the area. Over time, these schoolchildren expanded their network of contacts with other students from the nearby communities of San Pedro de Larcay and Santiago de Paucaray. The following year, in 1983, the PCP-SL intensified its activities in these districts, achieving some support in Soras where its mobile columns obtained lodging and food.
