Escape attempt from Huamanga CRAS leaves four subversives dead
Attempted escape from the Huamanga Center for Imprisonment and Social Adaptation (CRAS). In this attempt four subversives died and Eucario Najarro Jáuregui and Vicente Amilcar Urbay Ovalle were seriously wounded. They were taken to the hospital of Huamanga under surveillance of the Civil Guard. Carlos Alcántara, a school student and one of the top cadres of the PCP-SL in Ayacucho, was also hospitalized because he was suffering from osteomyelitis.
