PCP-SL rapes, tortures and murders woman accused of snitching in Umaru, Vilcashuamán, Ayacucho
The affiant's mother was raped and killed by PCP-SL members who accused her of providing information to the military. The mother was selling her products at the Colca military base. A group of three hikers intercepted her in the main square of Umaro saying 'we want to talk to you, snitch'. They dragged her by the hair through the square and took her to a church where she was raped and then murdered. The next day, her body was found in the church with her throat cut, completely naked, her legs spread open, bloodied. The skin had been removed from her face, her ears were missing and the palm of her hand had been perforated by a bullet.
