PCP-SL as a minority force in the UNE in 1982
PCP-SL was a minority force in UNE in 1982, while Izquierda Unida promoted the New University project.
In 1982, the PCP-SL was still a politically minority force in the UNE, while the United Left bloc constituted the New University project, which involved teachers, authorities and students. In this first moment, the PCP-SL articulated its work in the MOTC (Workers and Classist Workers Movement) of the Carretera Central. The process of recruitment of cadres was defined as a progressive stage in the actions of the PCP-SL, with the legal left feeling powerless to stop this advance, particularly between 1982 and 1986.
