Dynamiting of premises in several districts
On August 1, 1981, subversive groups dynamited 4 premises of Acción Popular, 3 Peace Courts and the ESAL Office of Villa el Salvador in Lima. These attacks were part of the initial campaign of sabotage by the PCP-Sendero Luminoso against state institutions.

The targets included 4 premises of Acción Popular (AP), 3 of them located in San Martin and Barrios Altos, as well as 3 Peace Courts and the ESAL Office in Villa el Salvador. These attacks were part of the initial strategy of the PCP-Sendero Luminoso to carry out sabotage and attacks against State institutions. The attacks were characterized as coordinated actions that sought to demonstrate the operational capacity of the subversive group in the capital.
