Attack on the Superior Court of Justice of Puno

On January 26, 1981, the PCP-Sendero Luminoso attacked the Superior Court of Justice of Puno. This attack was part of a series of initial violent actions by the subversive group in the department of Puno. The attack occurred a few days after they attacked the house of IU Mayor Jaime Ardiles on January 15 of the same year. Later, in August 1982, there would be another attack against the same Superior Court of Justice of Puno, along with an attack on the Onda Azul radio antenna.
