Arrest of Edith Lagos

Edith Lagos Sáez, a former law student at San Martín de Porres University, was arrested in Ayacucho and was accused of being one of the 'four most important leaders of the Shining Path'. Guzman later denied this characterization in an interview with the CVR, pointing out that the press had scandalized and twisted the information about the war.
