Child Casualties During the Internal Conflict in Peru
During the internal conflict in Peru, numerous children suffered dire consequences due to the violence and instability. Many children died from hunger and disease as their families were unable to provide for them amidst the chaos. In some tragic instances, mothers were forced to make heart-wrenching decisions to end the suffering of their children.
