Conflict and Internal Struggles within PCP-SL
In 1988, members of the PCP-SL (Shining Path) faced internal conflict when they stayed at the house of a Colombian drug trafficker in Nuevo Chilia, which was against their rules. La organización PCP-SL enfrentó problemas de disciplina interna manifestados en abusos de autoridad por mandos menores que aprovechaban sus posiciones para robar, acusar falsamente a cocaleros y eliminar narcotraficantes para apropiarse de dinero.
