Attack on the Police Post in Checca and Quehue
On February 5, 1987, 60 members of the PCP-SL attacked the police post in Checca and Quehue, stealing ammunition and two weapons, and setting the building on fire. The Civil Guards pursued the attackers, leading to a confrontation near Checca. During the clash, two PCP-SL members, Sonia Lino Ojeda and Janeth Vizcarra, were killed, and a guard named Adolfo Flores was gravely injured.
El 5 de febrero de 1987, sesenta elementos del PCP-SL atacaron el puesto policial de Checca y Quehue, robando municiones, dos armas e incendiando el local.
