A woman testified before the CVR about the torture she suffered at the time of her detention in Huacho, Lima. The testimony was collected in December 2002 as part of the process of compiling testimonies on human rights violations during the internal armed conflict. This case is part of the testimonies on torture and cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment documented by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
