Inter-American Court ruling on compliance with the Castillo Paez judgment

Inter-American Court requires Peru to report on compliance with judgment and progress in investigation of Castillo Paez case

The Inter-American Court issued a new resolution on compliance with the judgment, reminding the Peruvian State that it must take all necessary measures to comply with the Reparations Judgment. It ordered the State to submit to the Court, no later than March 30, 2003, a detailed report on the steps taken to comply with the judgment, including the progress of the investigations in Peru against several persons charged with the kidnapping and subsequent disappearance of Ernesto Castillo-Páez.
