CVR workshop with ronderos from the Apurimac River Valley, Ayacucho, to collect testimonies on the internal armed conflict and its effects on community organizations.
Workshop conducted by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission with ronderos from the Apurimac River Valley in Ayacucho. The workshop was carried out in the context of the collection of testimonies on the internal armed conflict. Participants discussed issues related to the organization of the rondas campesinas, the impact of political violence in their communities and the aftermath of the conflict. Aspects of the destructuring of communal organizations and changes in local leadership during and after the period of violence were addressed.
