In-depth interview with a Shining Path militant who was imprisoned in October 2002. The interviewee described aspects of the Shining Path organization and its methods of social control. In her testimony, she explained how the Shining Path took on the functions of justice in areas where there were no state authorities, punishing adultery, rape and abuse. The interview is part of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's work to document the internal armed conflict.
