On September 25, 2002, at approximately 4:00 AM, the witness returned to the grave accompanied by other family members. During this visit, they dug a few centimeters into the place and human bones began to appear. They also found a sweater (garment) that a lady had knitted for her husband, which was identical to one that her son had. In addition, clothing that was characteristic of the people of Quispillacta was observed. This return to the grave occurred in the context of a previous exhumation where the relatives had decided not to accept the remains until they received the results of the DNA tests in December, expressing distrust in the official process.
