Focus group with leaders and former leaders of the Departmental Federation of Farmers of Puno

Focus group held with peasant leaders and former leaders of the Departmental Federation of Peasants of Puno as part of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's work of compiling testimonies. In this meeting, issues related to the impact of the internal armed conflict on peasant organizations and local leadership were discussed. Participants shared their experiences on the destructuring of social organizations, the weakening of peasant leadership and government policies that affected communities during the period of violence. The focus group allowed gathering collective perspectives on how political violence transformed peasant organizational structures in the Puno region.
