In-depth interview with a former president of CODDEH (Committee for the Defense of Human Rights) who was also a university professor in the city of Puno. The interview was conducted in the context of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's collection of testimonies on human rights violations during the internal armed conflict. The testimony addresses issues related to abuse of authority by law enforcement officials, including arbitrary detentions and torture of villagers during the period of political violence.
