Group interview with Venenillo teachers

Group interview conducted by the CVR with teachers from Venenillo, Leoncio Prado province in Huánuco, to document the impact of the internal armed conflict on the educational and social community in the area.

Group interview conducted with teachers from the village of Venenillo in the province of Leoncio Prado, department of Huánuco, as part of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's work to collect testimonies. The teachers provided information on the impact of the internal armed conflict on the educational community and the local population. This interview is part of the testimonies documenting the social consequences of political violence in the rural areas of the central Peruvian jungle. The testimony collected addresses issues related to social destructuring, youth gangs and loss of parental control as consequences of the conflict.
