Montesinos and Hermoza's pre-trial investigation extended
Court extended investigation against Montesinos, Hermoza and 13 others for Barrios Altos massacre
On April 7, 2001, the 5th Special Anticorruption Criminal Court issued an order extending the investigation against Vladimiro Lenin Montesinos Torres, General Nicolás de Bari Hermoza Ríos and thirteen other people for the crimes of aggravated homicide, serious injuries and illicit grouping in the Barrios Altos case. An arrest warrant was ordered against some of them, restricted appearance against others and house arrest for some of the defendants.
