End of COREUNE on November 28, 2000
COREUNE ends its functions on November 28, 2000, installing the Transitory Government Committee in La Cantuta.
The Reorganization Commission at UNE (COREUNE) ended its functions on November 28, 2000, according to Law No. 27366, when the Transitory Government Committee presided by Rolando Vizarraga and Guillermo Vargas was installed. During the COREUNE period, professors linked to the former Leftist parties were dismissed. Subsequently, COREUNE facilitated, by reducing the number of credits, the graduation of former students.
